As the country of Egypt was reborn earlier...

As the country of Egypt was reborn earlier this year, +Wael Ghonim encouraged me to come visit. I had never been before and I had my reservations but I made the journey there a couple of months later. I discovered an amazing place at an amazing time. I thought I would stop by the pyramids just to check them off my list but I found them incredibly awe inspiring -- their scale in space and time, the perfection of their form, and the isolation of the spaces within. I posted one photo before. Here I have attached a number of shots. The inner photos are all inside the Great Pyramid. For the outside photos, I have included some of the exposure bracketed shots in case some of you HDR whizzes want to make some magic with them (sorry no raw). I will post more from that trip soon. Egypt is an amazing place in many ways and I certainly recommend a visit.
